Tasty Toasted Sandwiches

These toasted sandwiches take a bit more time than the average toasted sandwich to prepare but, boy are they worth it. They are really delicious and a definite family favourite. Great for a weekend lunch, snack or while watching the Bathurst 1000 on television this weekend (or any sporting event for that matter). They taste great using wholemeal or white bread or you might have another bread you prefer. I use the larger sliced bread, so if you use standard sized bread, this amount of filling will make more than 6 sandwiches.
