Ingredients: Pre-made pizza base (I use Toscano Wholemeal pizza bases); 1 tblsp olive oil; 500g lamb mince; 1 red onion, diced; 2 cloves garlic, crushed; 2 tblsp chopped fresh oregano; Pizza sauce (I use Leggo's Pizza Sauce with garlic, onion and herbs); Pizza cheese ( use Perfect Italiano Pizza Plus); Tomatoes, sliced; Red capsicum, diced; Tasty cheese, grated; Pre-made pizza base (I use Toscano Wholemeal Pizza Bases); Pizza cheese (I use Perfect Italiano Pizza Plus); Tomatoes, sliced; Cooked chicken, diced (I use all the breast meat from 1 cooked chicken); Pineapple, diced (or use tinned pineapple pieces); Red capsicum, diced; Sliced black olives; Champignons, sliced; Tasty cheese, grated

We love our pizzas with heavy toppings so to get them how we like them I make my own. We still get take away pizzas but they won’t deliver where we live (about 18kms away) so its a bit inconvenient. I use lots of cheats to make things easier but my goal is to make my own pizza bases, something I’ve never made. Keep watching this space to see how I go.

I haven’t used amounts for most of the ingredients because it will depend on the size of the pizza bases you use and your own individual tastes.

Previously I had always used tinned pineapple (we are definitely pineapple on pizza people) but my daughter has just come back from Thailand where she had pizza with fresh pineapple and said it tasted better. The chicken pizza in the picture has fresh pineapple on it. We agree, it tastes better fresh.
