Ingredients: 210ml hoi sin sauce; 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce (20ml tablespoon)- see notes; 2 teaspoons sesame oil; 1 heaped teaspoon crushed chilli; 2 teaspoons sugar; 2 tablespoons oil; 400g lamb leg steak, thinly sliced; 4 cloves garlic, crushed; 1 red onion, cut into thin wedges; 1 small red capsicum, thinly sliced; 150g green beans, topped and tailed and cut in half

We regularly have an Asian meal night that always includes Mongolian Lamb, Indian inspired rice and either a beef or a chicken dish. I was very surprised when I went to a Chinese restaurant with my family to find that the sauce on their Mongolian beef tasted exactly the same as the sauce on my Mongolian lamb. This dish is a definite favourite of mine as well as my husband, my daughter.

The picture at the bottom of the post shows all the dishes we had for our last Asian meal night.
