Pasta Bake

Method

Tap a step when it's done.

1. 1Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan forced.
2. 2Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Drain. Add a splash extra virgin olive oil and stir through. Set aside.
3. 3While pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in fry pan. Add onion, carrot and garlic. Cook stirring until onion has softened, about 5 minutes.
4. 4Add beef mince. Break up meat and cook util well browned, about 10-15 minutes.
5. 5Add cooked pasta to beef mix. Stir to combine. Add pasta sauce. Add water to empty jar, replace lid and shake to get as much sauce as possible. Pour into fry pan. Stir until well combined.
6. 6Put pasta/mince mix into rectangular casserole dish. Cover with grated cheese.
7. 7Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
8. 8Serve with garlic bread (home made tastes best) and a salad if desired.
